Verona is made with 24 template pieced blocks and 12 plain blocks. It is assembled into 9 Sections which allows you to applique' the flowers into the corner sections (using your favorite applique method), prior to the final assembly which is basically like sewing together a giant 9 patch. The fabrics I used have a soft suede like look but the quilt would look awesome done in overall prints of your choice.

Florence starts out as a basic lone star but turns into a unique medallion with the addition of an extra block and unique color placement. The unusual fusible appliques of leaves and flowers makes the quilt reminiscent of the art nouveau/art deco decades.

China Blue is a new look to the basic star design. Each spoke of the star is made of 4 diamond shaped blocks which are template pieced. It is surrounded with simple applique bouquets. Although I designed this block with the blue and white china in mind, it would look great in any color other than blue. Just use 5 shades of your favorite color ranging from light to dark against a white or off-white background for a striking quilt.
