China Blue is a new look to the basic star design. Each spoke of the star is made of 4 diamond shaped blocks which are template pieced. It is surrounded with simple applique bouquets. Although I designed this block with the blue and white china in mind, it would look great in any color other than blue. Just use 5 shades of your favorite color ranging from light to dark against a white or off-white background for a striking quilt.
